Where is Radioman Today?

9/5/13  UPDATE:  I am in southern Africa and my spot device does not have any service in all of Africa. Guess you will just have to read the blog to see where I am or have been ! Looking for the “Big Five”, and exploring Africa!  Thanks for your understanding!

11/30/13 The tracking is back working as I arrived back in the USA…. But the 3 months in Africa will not show. Bummer….

    Hey Mark,
Living the dream. I ride a Ducati Multi. I have done a few trips into Canada and many points south but not that far south! I wanna ride with ya! I’m in Seattle, flex schedule. I can ride for a day or a week. Let me know. Christy Green is my beautiful reference. No worries either way. I celebrate the life lived and…..

I’ll be tuning in, good for you! Mel

  3. Dude, you have been a beacon of light, not only to Chris, but for those of us watching you. Your ride has more to do with life, than it does with carburetors and rubber, and we will all be watching with baited breath. You continue to be an inspiration to me, showing me what being a man is all about. Thank you. Keep the rubber down and the carbs a hummin’ and show the rest of us what life is all about. Blessings!

  4. Chris Hagen says:

You continue to inspire lives just by living. That is something I pray for everyday. If I don’t see you before you leave, knowing how much preparation there is to do, you be careful. I hope your adventures are rewarding and fruitful. And we will definitely get together when you get back.

If you need more travel information, our neighbor is a world traveler. He has been to South America, Europe and his favorite place southeast Asia and particularly Viet Nam. Just let me know if you want to talk with him.

    Hello Cuz,
Wow, what an amazing family we have. Just sold both of our bikes so we are grounded for a while. Hope you stopped to see Jean in Colorado Springs. Wish you could be in Ohio during the Cox reunion, but follow your dream where it leads. The rainbow in the clouds are called parhelion formations; ice crystals in the clouds. Saw a whole bank of them in N. Ca. once. Beautiful. Gordon & I will keep praying for you and watching your progress. Eileen

Hey guys if you go from Oaxaca to Puerto Escondido, try to stop in San Jose del Pacifico, beatiful place you should visit and stay at least one night, enjoy fresh air and take breath landscapes. Good luck!

  23. Barry Mroz says:

Mark , following your adventure. I’m trying to stir up a friend of a friend in Panama in case you need some extra help down there.

    Hey Mark,
Following your progress with interest, sorry about your temporary setback in Guatemala.
At Palenque, I had the good fortune to cross paths with you and Sam. I was one of the group of eight that joined up with you guys at the ruins Thanksgiving morning. Glad you captured such a great shot of the howler monkey on our jungle hike!
Would’ve joined you for cervezas at Don Mucho, but plans changed, ended up catching first bus to Ocosingo in the morning to catch the ruins at Toniná. Back in NYC, so it’ll have to be another time and place. Hope you and your bike are back on the road soon.
    Safe travels, happy trails!

    Hey Mark

Kathy and I are enjoying all your posts and pictures.

Life is an adventure…not a guided tour.

  26. Andres says:

    Hi Mark;
This is Andrés Quesada, the guy who was at the Guatemala City BMW Agency for a tire change on the red K100. To tell you that it was a great conversation for me too, one of those that makes you think about so many things, and grow. Family, friends, what do you do, what you should not, how you do it, etc… Life it´s too short for even talk to the wrong people and the time to do what I like, it´s today. You are a great example, keep going, thank you. I´ll be following and if there´s anything you need in Guatemala City just get in touch. Have a great New Year´s party.

  27. Bill P says:

Happy New Year Mark!!! Peet’s next week? I’d like you to enjoy some of this wonderful weather we’re having.
    Keep on keeping on.
    Mr. Bill
