How many times can I say that the ADV community is awesome! You can meet them on the road, follow their posts/threads online, or meet that at an ADV gathering the connections are amazing to me. They really have been a very important part of my ride!! Only wish I could have seen more ADV riders along my way, but timing does not always work out. But hopefully in the future!! I am sure to say this a few more times in this ride report.

Left Middleton, NS afternoon and rode to Sydney, NS on Cape Breton Island.

Mileage about 300

Weather. Sunny mid 70’s F and as close to perfect as you can get for riding!!

During my stay with C-stain and family Megan did my laundry! Was really great!! THANKS!!

She also made up a couple of custom “decals” for my bike!

Craig whipped up breakfast. Bacon and French Toast. Yummy

We enjoyed the morning together at the kitchen table. The hospitality was wonderful! Craig was working not on ADV

Their son was a very cute guy. Wanted to show me a few of his prized toys! Of course the Buzzlightyear was the same size as he is

New decals going on the bike

Always good to to have ADV bikes in the garage!!

Future GS rider checking out the bike!!

A parting family shot in the driveway!!

taking timed kid photos can be a trick….

Craig took me on a nice tour of the area. Lots of light houses along the Bay of Fundy.

As I am riding through the beautiful countryside in Nova Scotia a few things stand out. I see Laundry air drying on many homes. Lots of colors and sizes. It is cool.

and The home all seem to have piles of wood as they get ready for a long winter!

And I forgot that after I entered Canada …. Needed to go to an ATM and pick up some money.

Then along the coast road to Cape George. Really beautiful ride.

As I road onto Cape Breton, I had seen this sign. Make me smile. Lobster Roll at McDonalds

riding a bit later than normal, but the weather was great!

My shadow leading the way!

Arrived in Sydney…. Always nice to view across some water!
