Just taking some more time in Medellin to get a few things done, and relax! Knee is certainly getting better, but want to keep taking care of it so I am healthy as I ride south. Was great to meet Albert from Shamrock Pub. Great place to hang out, lots of people...

After almost a week in Cartagena it is time to get back on the bike and ride !! missed being on my bike. We waited until Tuesday so that we could go get SOAT insurance for our bikes. It is mandatory in Columbia. If you get Caught it is a big deal, or so we were told....

Still resting my knee and doing all the stuff the doc said to do. It is getting better but it will take time. Cartagena is a cool place to visit which is why there are lots of tourists, El Centro was a much more expensive side of town to stay, but i needed to rest....

Resting up in Cartagena!!! That was the doctors recommendation. So I am doing it. Only left the hotel to get dinner, otherwise I was catching up on computer stuff or at the poolside. It was great at the hotel as there was a family and friends staying at the hotel...

So we all arrive at 8:30 Am to customs office. There are 10 of us waiting...... At 9:30 an inspector comes with paperwork for 2 bikes and they go check the vin's, plates etc. Then later two more..... We are all waiting. Felt like we were all sitting on a long bus...

The 5th was a rest day. Moved to a better hotel so that I had a place to relax. Did not really want to spend the extra money but while "stuck" in a hotel.... My standards go up Got my spot updated to Cartagena.... The hotel has a roof access so the view over the city....
