Mark, I found it curious that you haven't mentioned the military check points much. I remember several while in Baja last May, and I imagined the mainland to be full of them. Have they just not been an issue, or have there not been many? BTW, my fellow outta sight...
Zipolite….. To Arriagua, MX
We packed up, and headed out of Zipolite the great little beach town. Rode about 240 miles to Arriagua enroute to San Cristobal de Las Casa. Great sunrises..... Bikes parked right near our room. Shambala is a meditation retreat. Has a great look out over the ocean....

A day at the beach!! Sunrise was great!! breakfast with an amazing view!! Spent a good part of the day sitting here and out on the beach. Looking back up at our hotel. We were in the top "bungalow" At the beach this crazy goose kept attacking people. Tall white guy...

We headed out early in the morning to ride while it is cool. Started at 60 degrees and by the time we got to the coast it was 87 degrees and really humid. Know it is starting into Winter in the northern US.... So I am smiling Riding out of Oaxaca. Tuk Tuks... We ride...
