Thursday 10.24.13 we have a nice breakfast overlooking the Ai Ais Spa campsites. Then road our last bit of gravel road in Namibia. Just a great day. Had a smile on my face and we rode south on this cooler, Blue sky day. Rolling up the miles....... We got to the "tar"...
Helmeringhausen to Ai Ais in Fish river Canyon
Next morning we we off and riding again. Loving the Blue sky and slightly cooler temps! Just riding my own ride. Enjoying the beauty of the area and taking it all in!! Have seen many wooden power poles along the way, with the old glass insulators. A bit of a tar road...

Had a great evening in Gross SpitzKoppe in the Chalet. What a view. Then off we rode in the morning ! The road conditions change on the non sealed roads. Had corrugated and sandy patches near the park. But lots of hard packed gravel and loose rocks as well. 100KM of...
Estosha National Park and onto SpitzKoppe
After we left Grootfountain, we had heard about the largest Meteorite that has been found intact on the earth. So lets have a look. it weights 60 tons..... Can you imagine what that would have been like? The one that landed in Russia recently was 1200 Lbs... injured...

We rolled out of the great Mazambala Camp and headed west across the Caprivi Strip. Like many of the points in Africa, we needed to step off the bikes into a bath of chemicals to stop the spread of foot to mouth disease. and the bikes get a spray down.... Riding down...
